    Made my 1st attempt at table rock today, and did some investigating of
    some new development trails I had found last year.

    Headed up behind the penitentiary, Here's a view looking down into it.

    Then I took a left to head to Table Rock Road (TRR).

    Made it to about here:

    This is about 50 yards from TRR. There is a trail that starts out
    toward TRR, but stops about 10 yards short! They haven't finished it!
    Who do I have to beg/kill/bribe/pay/ignore or
    "LiftOffTheGroundByTheirJunctionWithMyFoot" to get the last 10 yards of
    this trail finished?

    Here's where you have to go to connect to TRR from that side: Up N.

    Here's a view looking back down at Strata Via from as far up as you can
    bike. It would cut out a considerable distance to TRR if it was
    complete. This trail was cut with a blade last year, I appeared to be
    the 1st to bike it this year.

    Here's the view looking toward TRR I know you can't see the road, but
    those who ride it will recognize the house. I could have tossed rocks
    and landed them on the road from where I was standing here.

    Really wish this went through to TRR instead of having to backtrack up
    Strata Via.

    Here's where you have

    You could volunteer with your local group of trail builders, instead of
    complaining about it.

    Anyway it looks like a moto trail - no self respecting mountain biker would
    make a fall line trail like that.

    You could volunteer with your local group of trail builders, instead of
    complaining about it.

    That was my question, I'd do both volunteer AND complain.

    Elaborate. . . Moto trail? This trail was obviously cut with a
    terracing blade behind a small tractor by the people who put in the
    road. They just didn't quite finish it.

    Go to mtbr.com, forums, idaho, and post your question. SmilyCook is
    the SWIMBA president and will probably see your message. That's where
    he usually posts info on trail work days too, around Boise, up near
    Stack Rock, etc.
