  1. Walking down Park Row I spied a Gazelle chained to a lampost. Hmm,
interesting machine, I 'know' someone who has just got one of those I
thought. He's probably in the bank right now. Out walked two people,
one undoubtedy thinking "who's this bloke checking my new steed out".
MSeries met Pyromancer. Nice to meet you sir, recognised you by your
bike, jolly nice it is too.

    Thanks! <fx: bows>

I did indeed notice you looking at the bike, a pleasure to meet a
fellow cyclist in such a car, taxi and bus-obsessed city. I'd not
allowed for being recognised by the bike, but I suppose it is fairly
distinctiive, and probably the only Gazelle in Leeds. Not quite in the
'bent league for head-turning, but nice to be noticed! :-)

Nice to be eye-level with bus drivers too.

    Cheers!

Oh no, you mean this virtual world intersects with reality at some
    point?

When I got my recumbent I had to get used to kids shouting "Heavy bike!"
at me. I believe that this is a compliment. I don't suppose you're had
    any such yoof comments yet?

I'll certainly be looking out for a Gazelle (or even a gazelle) in
Leeds. It looks like a fine steed. I walked down Park Row this
afternoon, actually, but must have got the timing wrong.

I was only in the centre briefly to visit the bank, our offices are in
Sheepscar and I live in Harehills, so I'm only in town itself
occasionally. Lovely to come bombing down the hill at no effort in the
    mornings though!

  6. I was pondering on this post as I cycled to work this morning. How does
such a meeting transpire. Is it a case of
'I am Pyromancer, Lord of Seven Seals. Magician At Arms. Who are you,
mortal, to gaze on my steed?'
    'My name, Lord, is MSeries'
'Oooh - don't I know you off URC? That's OK then'

    etc etc
It was a longer ride this morning.

Kind of. I was stood admiring the bike, a chap walked out of the bank
and approached me. "Is this your bike" - I asked.
    "Yes" - he said.
    "Are you Pyromancer ?" - I asked.
    "Yes" - he said
offering my hand I said "I am MSeries".

    Simple as that

Did you have a portable kitchen to put round the bike, so that you could
    properly appreciate it?
