TE frame weight?

Anyone know how much a frame for someone 6 foot 3 (190 cm) weighs? Got my TE-clone frame back from painter and its a whopping 13 lbs (6 kg) with the fork. :-) Mikael

Anyone know how much a frame for someone 6 foot 3 (190 cm) weighs? Got my TE-clone frame back from
painter and its a whopping 13 lbs (6 kg) with the fork. :-)

I'm 6'4 and my whole bike only weighs 20 pounds. Although that is with really heavy wheels.

Are you sure? That's upright racing-bike weight! Mine (large EX) is certainly much, much heavier
than that, though I've never weighed it. My recollection is that it's advertised somewhere between
31-35 lbs.

This is just the painted frame and fork. No wheels etc.

That sounds a little heavy to me, Mikael.
I have built a few LWB frames and, if they weighed that much I'd have been very surprised.

Well thats what the (admittedly crappy) scales say. Its a clone though but built by the best
recumbent bikebuilder in Poland when we are talking steel. I'd still like to know what the real
McCoy weighs.
Its fine for my intended use anyway. I've even had people who tried a real Easy Racer tell me they
liked mine better. They said it was stabler/stiffer.

Just out of curiosity I went to the EasyRacers web site. They list the assembled weight of a medium
TE (SS) at 30lbs. The EX medium is 30 1/4 lbs.
