Shame some of the links are broken. I made up my own mind on h*****s a long time ago (I find them
choking, hot, and I'm far more concerned about being mown down by some idiot doing 70mph while
chatting on his mobile or crushed by an truck, than I am about falling off at the sort of speeds
helmets might be useful for), but I'm slightly suspicious that I can't find out quite who is behind
the site. This doesn't help its credibility much.

Interesting point, though to be fair they do say "cyclehelmets.org is the website of an
international coalition of people with a special interest in cycling and cycle helmets. The
coalition includes doctors, cycling safety experts, statisticians and people with professional
involvement in helmet design and performance. All those concerned are themselves cyclists." and "The
cyclehelmets.org coalition may be contacted at info@ cyclehelmets.org." so you could ask them for
clarification if you felt like it.
And as far as the broken links go "Please note: It will be some time before the information on this
site is as comprehensive as we wish it to be. Do come back from time to time to see what's new."

But that actually means nothing - it could be anyone with a "fake" email
setup

that

This from somebody who claims that they are called Zog The Undeniable and who claims that their
e-mail address is [email hidden]. Perhaps we should be more suspicious of you.
The site has been created by some of the people who participate in the an e-mail discussion group.
The site has been put together by John Franklin with information from several members of the group
and, as it says, is still being developed.

Reading the site I worked out that John Franklin was involved. It would be useful if you're in
communication with that mailing list, if the site was a little more forthcoming about who was behind
it and what their qualifications were - it would make the site more credible.

Span protection and potential future employer protection, sorry.

Nice try, but to use your own words slightly suspicious. Spam protection can be ac hived in other
ways. Future employers can be guarded against with a less romantic assumed name.
Anyway, you fail to answer the point I made. If you wish for this "protection" why are you not
prepared to allow the authors of this web site the same "protection"?

Ahhh now, come on, come on, will you, isn't a darling name, to be sure?
Simon, doesn't much go for assumed names but grins at that one.
