I'm overhauling an old Peugeot Iseran, and want to change the handlebar/brake combination from something like this

I'm already happy with the friction shifters, so all I'd really need to put on there are break handles. In fact, if there's a way to install the molded hand pegs/horns onto my existing bar, that would be ideal.
Please advise...
[font=Arial]The 'future' picture you show includes integrated shifter/brake levers. If you want to keep your current friction shifting system you can simply get aero brake levers to achieve the desired look.[/font]
[font=Arial]You will have to remove the existing brake levers from the handlebars and then replace them with the newly purchased aero levers. This will, of course, require removal of the handlebar tape and the brake cables so you will need replacement tape and may want to replace the old cables if they are worn or rusted.[/font]
