  1. Does anyone know of a company that still make the old fashoined type of
touring shoe - the leather upper with smoothish sole and very small heel,
    but still firm base.

I know of the Carnac brand but wondered if there were any others.

    Thanks
    Dave

The CTC mag has an ad in for these things. I don't have a copy to hand
    right now.

There is a UK company that sells them and generally has a stand at York
and Mildenhall. If someone doesn't come along with the name I'll see if
    I can dig it out.
