  1. OK, for those who know ore about Campag than me:

Apart from a couple of quid, what's difference between Veloce and Centaur brake calipers?

    Thanks

Centaur has sideways pointing cable bolt -- helps you get allen key in on
frames with minimal clearance at the rear or sticking-out stays.

2005 and earlier: Different cable adjusters.

Pad holders may be slightly different, although both Centaur/Daytona and
Veloce have provided orbital adjustment since 2001.

The arms are the same shape, afaict, and same as older Mirage's.

With Kool Stop blocks, my 02ish Mirage works extremely well (I just have
the front with a different rear brake). The 2006 Mirage is different,
though, and happens to be lighter than Centaur; I don't know how well it
    "stops". No orbital adjustment.
