I have a few questions about Felt Bikes. Does anyone know of a Felt dealer in Perth? Does anyone have/ridden a Felt and have some useful feedback? For $1500 should I be looking at the F80 model road bike?
And last, I think I have just missed clearance sales for last years models, at what time of year are these normally?

I'd like to know when clearance sales are on too, I'm in the market for my first roadie... I test rode the Felt F75, Giant OCR1 and Avanti Giro...
The Felt was the most comfortable/stable... I was told that the F80 was not worth it, cos it has a poor crankset? Is this true? RPM cranks...

I bought a Felt 80 last year and have no problems. It is my third bike and I am pleased with it. I bought it as a last years model for $800 USD.

i just test rode an OCR1.0 and my bros TCR1
The OCR1 was a small (i usually ride a med)... it was so uncomfortable! The bars were too narrow and I was not keen on the 105 shifters. Considering the carbon rear stays and ALUXX SL frame... it was pretty heavy.
I took my bro's TCR1 for a spin. It was FAST!. The goemetry is very racy, on the drops.. i was crushing my nuts with my guts. Surprisingly smooth... obvious the prorace2 making a diff.
I would've bought neither... and i was seriously considering the OCR1
I have heard the Felt is really dialled.... won quite a few award in the UK... F55 i think

May not help you in Perth, but I saw a F65 in Melbourne for $1650. If you've managed to test ride, and you're happy, maybe buy online at bicyclestore.com.auFelt Road Bikes c 274.htmlOpen ↗ they've got the F80 for $1236. Alternatively, go to your local and see if they'll price match. Worked for me last year. BTW I bought a F70 last year. It's coming up to 12 months, and I've done almost 5,000km with the only problem being a bottom bracket that needed replacing after 4000km. Still very happy with it.
Do you know why those prices are so cheap? I certainly havent seen prices like those here in Perth, are they last years run out models, because I think that I'm only entering into road cycling so I should probably try and take advantage of those deals not knowing the real difference in performance yet.

Thanx for all the help🙂
They're defintely this years models, because some these models didn't exist last year. I would try and get a LBS to price match these, it's worth a try. If something goes wrong (unlikely, but you never know), I assume it would be easier to deal with a shop that an online store. If they can't price match, or at least get close, go online.

Saw it at Melbourne Bicycle Centre on High St in Prahran (see www.bikes.com.au for location, phone numbers). Was walking past on ANZAC day, and it was in the window. Would've had a look, but they were shut. I'm pretty sure it was $1650, but my sieve-like memory may be letting me down. I was definetly under $1700. I suspect that price doesn't include pedals (as most bikes over $2000 don't).
Yesterday I saw a Felt F-100 marked down from $1050 to $850 in Runners World, West Perth. They have many Felt bikes in stock, I did not check the prices on the others. (My GF has a F-100 650c)
