Well, if you're referring to LI, then there are trails, plenty of them, but
nothing with elevation to speak of, but plenty of technical riding, only
about 45 minutes from Manhatten. C.L.I.M.B. is currently working on securing
some trails in Staten Island, Queens, Manhatten area. Your best option is to
go to Westchester County area, about 30-45 mins from Manhatten, where you
can tackle Blue Mountain and Sprain Ridge. You get the best of both worlds,
extremely technical and it has plenty of elevation. Bring plenty of water
and food because they are both long trails.
