    I have half of the tools in the Bike Hand kit. It is also sold under other brand names.

    Not cheap and nasty but inexpensive yet decent quality. Uses hardened steel, as far as I can tell,
    and tollerances seem ok.

    * Chain tool: excellent for its type
    * Nylon/glass-fibre tyre levers: excellent
    * Chain whip: you don't need a more expensive one
    * Pedal spanner: strong, no problems, but you might prefer a single-ended one
    * Cone spanners: ok but not comfortable
    * Old-style BB tool: no problems
    * Spoke wrench: not a good type

    It's well worth buying as a beginner's budget kit - then add to it as and when you can.

    The kit is available at the same price also from:
    www.mwdyason.ltd.uk/shop.asp?no_category=23&text_company=TOOLS (and they also sell the tools
    separately)

    I wonder if there's any connection between the two companies? They seem to stock a lot of the same
    stuff with similar prices!!
