I would be interested in getting discussion if you think cyclists will evolve into doing duathlon (run+bike+run)? There is a lot of discussion by groups at USA Triathlon on how to grow duathlon. Some thoughts are to partner with USA Cycling and create a cross-over ripple for duathlon and cycling. Do think it's bunk? How many would add a duathlon to their racing schedule?
