Quoted message said:I have only recently become bent & am wondering how Cycle Genius bikes are regarded in these
circles. I got a good deal on an ALX-20sq & have not put many miles on it yet. I just got my
clipless shoes, so I am hoping that will make a positive difference. Any feedback will be
appreciated.
I think the answer depends on why you _need_ a recumbent. If you want to smoke roadies, then the
CycleGenius will probably be a little disappointing.
If all you want to do is tool around the neighborhood and impress the kids, then you will
enjoy the CG.
I think the CG is a great recumbent. There is one in my Saturday ride group and it is no slouch in
keeping up with the pack. I also think it makes a great commuter.
The CG is probably the best dollar value for a recumbent.
Caveat. I know both Danny and Adam and begin my Saturday rides out of their store parking lot. I get
no compensation for any of my comments about the CG. While I probably will never own a CG (I like to
smoke an occasional roadie). I have been impressed with what they have done to put an affordable
'bent on the market.
