Just curious if anyone here might have some feedback. Sometime in August I
started have an irregular heartbeat, so after three weeks of this I went to
see the doctor.
The first EKG showed some Atrial Fibrillation, on to the cardiologis I went.
Had a stress test done and the induced some SVT at about 210 bpm.
Onward to the holter monitor which picked several substained Vtach episodes.
Following this I had a chemical induced stress test and imaging which showed
a possible blockage. Started Toprol 50mg at this point.
At the Cath lab everthing was normal and now blockages were found.
The Toprol was not effective and the doctor switched me over to Covera-HS.
(the side effects of the Toprol was making me winded badly)
So after a two week follow up on the Covera still getting some sustained
irregular beats though not as severe.
An EP studied was ordered and that also came up negative. I was still on the
Covera and was put out for the test. Would this have any effect at not
inducing the arrythmia?
My follow up is next week, just looking for any opinions of what could be
left?
Thanks everyone and hope this makes some kinda sense.
I'm 33 years old, male, been into weightlifting for several years, (no
steroid use, just protiens shakes) Echos show nothing abnormal in the heart
structure or valves.
