hi there i wondered if anyone could give me any information on heart murmurs...the stuff i've looked at on the net isnt that detailed. my 16 month old girls were found to both have heart murmurs when they were 1 week old and 2 months old. one of my girls had a scan on her heart which showed to be normal, the other they said her murmur was normal.? any way one of the girls has recently been diagnosed with asthma she coughs a lot and also tends to look a little blue around her mouth. i took her for her check up the other week and the doctor said he could hear the murmur and did we know about it, which we did.he referred her to the hospital with her asthma and this murmur to be checked out. some of the things i have been reading is making me wonder whether he coughing and blue lips are related to her heart rather than her asthma.while we wait for an appointment does anyone have any information or suggestions?
