Those meat-a-balles look tempting. But you need better bread, that
looks like a soft hot dog bun in need of toasting. And for better
presentation plate with the sandwich sliced on the bias (right through
a meat-a-ball). Arrange so it's not hanging over your very
inappropriate style sandwich plate. Sheesh, yoose folks has got to
update your dinnerware... a straw basket lined with parchment would be
far more appropriate for a drippy sub.

    YUMMY!

    WHERE ARE MY MANNERS!????

    http://maindish.allrecipes.com/az/HrtyMtbllSndwich.asp

    My notes:

Delicious sub!!! I docctored it up to make it 5 stars:

    1. Omit the salt.
    2. Cut the pepper down to 1 teaspoon.
    3. Mix 1 lb. ground beef with 1/2 lb. ground pork.
    4. Add 1 egg.

Plus: Most reviewers made meatballs instead of the loaf so I did too. I
wasn't used to sliced meatball-loaf slices in a meatball sub although it
makes sense where neatness is a concern (Maybe for the Queen of England?)
    😉

    Sheldon,

Ya got me there on the fine bone china plate presentation (I was eating
solo) but sliced on a bias just for "yoose folks" just ain't gonna
happen. Anyway the roll was a famous Amoroso hoagie roll, far removed
from anything resembling a hotdog roll.

    All the best,

    Andy

    kili,

Yeah, sure. 😉 Just don't post to www.tinypics.com by mistake. THE
    BUMS!!!

I wish I could post more to a.b.f but on my diet, my camera is dying of
rice and tuna and fat-free milk. *whimper*

    All the best,

Thanks, Andy! I would make the meatballs, too. Otherwise, it's just a
    meatloaf sandwich. :-)

Looks worse than when my cats heave up hair balls... the clumps I scoop
from my cat's litter pans is more esthetically pleasing, really...
you're getting even worse. And you didn't even wash that plate since
the time before, all greasy, spotted, and stained... disgusting.

    That's funny, historically speaking.
