Drumochter Munros

I'd suggest you'll not have any problems in that area. Afterall they
are just rolling hills, great for Xcountry sking so therefore pretty
safe for walkers at this time of the year.

It's April and until the past day or two it has been cold. There has

I was up Ben Vane at Arrocher on Thurday. There is still knee deep snow
in a few places on the path up from Loch Lomondside. And plenty snow in
all the north facing slopes high up.
As The Drumochter hillls are higher and much further from the sea I
would expect a lot of snow up there.

Having read my post I should clarify it as there being knee deep snow
high up on the path on the east ridge of Ben Vane facing Loch Lomond.

We drove passed last Tuesday, and there was a lot of snow still,
though not as much as in The Cairngorms. Certainly take axe and
crampons - you probably won't need them as the remaining snow is
likely to be fairly soft, but better safe than sorry.
