Bargain Bucket stuff from Aldi from 20th April. Most of the stuff "Walking" boots and non breathable waterproofs probably not of interest but I can commend the walking poles ( with cork, not plastic handles) - I think mine from last year is better than my Leki - only UKP 4.99 The "Soft Shell" jackets looked good last year as did the Merino Wool midlayer stuff if you are averse to fleeces . I regretted only getting one pair of "Walking Socks" from Lidl last year, as I found them very comfy, so if Aldi's offering is similar I will be snapping a few of theirs up. Cheapo CoolMax ( tm) "Baselayer" stuff I have had before is not too bad on days when sweating is more of a problem than rainfall UKP 3.99 I have taken the "Outdoor Shirts" on holiday, and they are great in a hot climate - dry quickly, wash easily and the zipped underarm mesh is a nice touch - the XL is not that big though over my portly frame :-(( TTFN

Had one a year or so. The elastic came out at the front, but that could be due to my fondness for tightening the bottom of jackets up (biking).
