  1. Today's the day. Off to Bikefix this afternoon on Brommie #1 to collect
Brommie #2, a full on Ti version courtesy of Mr Brown and his
exceedingly good tax break. So if you see someone with a big grin on
his face wheeling two bright yellow Brommies to Kings Cross that'll be
me. Can wait to fufu-fufu-fufu... Did I mention I had two Brommies........?

Female colleague is waiting for similar in pink to which will be added
    http://www.teamestrogen.com/images/products/TY-21139-PIN_xlg.jpg Surely
    the ultimate Brompton fashion statement.

That's the trouble with so many of Gordon's tax breaks, from bikes & pc's to
pensions, all they do is encourage people who can afford, and already do
something, to do it in a tax efficient way with a subsidy!

Great for the headlines after budget day but do bugger all to address the
    real issue.

Given that my personally purchased Brommie has taken about 10k business
miles from driving to the train and that Brommie #1 will be now used by
the family and for personal trips while Brommie #2 will be used for
business trips, I think Gordon's handout will have had a significant
impact here on a real issue. I feel no guilt.

My local Bromptonmonger has a pink one with titanium bits in, but
employer shows no sign of organising anything to take advantage of
    Mr Brown's generosity.

Bryan (green with envy, the controller has said I can only buy another bike if I do La Marmotte, so I guess I'd better get training for next year :-( )

Choosing a Brompton, even a Ti one, for the cyclo-sportive event seems
    fairly perverse to me....
