  1. Popped into Aldi at lunch time today to pick up some cheap walking poles. Came out with a £1.99 mini pump and a black cycling gilet for £5.99 both absolute bargains 😄 ...but are they any good? I'm sure the pump will self destruct on first use but the gilet looks really good. Anyone alse riding in Aldi kit? Should I be keeping and eye out for the weekly specials?

    Cheers

    David

  2. Yes, bikes tops, shorts and gloves. Many pr of their sport sox. Weekly specials come via e-mail.

  3. picked up a short sleeve jersey at a different Aldi last night too 😄 signed up for the news letter too. Now I just have to resist the temptation of cheap BBQs etc 🙄

  4. Just bought a gilet in Aldi for €9.99. Looks pretty decent quality. They also have jerseys for €6.99.

  5. I've never seen bike gear at any ALDI in the USA !

  6. In Australia this week they're selling a great allen key set. Long handles, every metric size from 1.5 to 10mm included. $7.
