Thank god you sent that website. I was beginning to wonder if you
Melbourne people were into some sort of bestiality. At last my fears
    have been allayed.

Have one for me... A beer that is!

Awww, c'mon, post it here for a.b enjoyment!

Would require heaps of concentration, but seems to work for them.

What's the bet this video was taken by a westerner sitting on top of
their hotel, just sitting there jaw agape for several hours fascinated
    at the mayhem below?

Who's ever seen "Return of the Scorcher" or got to see "We are traffic" at Celluloid Cycles fillum fest? A certain San Fran bicycle ride scored a name change from Commuter Clot to *something else* due to a segment showing Chinese cyclists massing up at intersections and then forcing their way through by sheer force of numbers.

It's no longer an offense in Vic in regards to "drunk riding", unless it's been changed recently. Still, be responsible.

Quite a few years back I got caught up in a breath-o unit along Phlegmington Road. I'd only a hotty choccy that evening, so hence nothing showed up on the breathalyser. The constabulary were obviously totally bored, as I received a good-natured round of applause when departing. 🙂

much amusement at pointing out offishers' own ignorance of law on richmond boulie late one night 😄

PS doesnt apply if you are involved in accident...

Every time I've come across a booze bus I've made a big show of behaving just like a car. Waiting my turn in traffic, waiting for police to wave me on etc.

    Haven't been breathalised yet.

Given that the law does not give power to police to random breath test cyclists and that there is no offence of 'over the prescribed limit' for cyclists*, any copper using up disposable mouthpieces etc would be guilty of misusing official assets and wasting public moneys.

WA police breath testing unit got caught out a while back falsifying the number of drivers they tested. For a while after that, breath test units were asking for mobile phone contact number at the time of the test and a senior copper was ringing up about a week later to check that the driver really had been tested.

(*you can however still be charged with being intoxicated while in charge of your bicycle)
