Just to add to all the Lidl threads recently Aldi have an outdoors theme tomorrow, looks like the star offfering is a Merino Wool mid layer at £9. Also wlaking socks and many more outdoors stuff.

If these are anything like the ones they had a year or two back,
they're
very warm, very toasty, very comfy.Just, er, don't wash 'em at 40c. Not unless you want them very tight

No mid-layers in either Leicester store; all walking socks gone in the
Braunstone store by 6pm; still some of last weeks cycling jackets & gillets
in the St Georges store this morning (Thursday). -

I got two as I thought they were a bit of a bargain.However, it should be said that they are actually a 50:50 merino/acrylic
mix and they are nowhere near as good (cut/stitchin/itchiness!!) as say
an Icebreaker.druidh

It certainly sells for more money than other wools, and the bank balance
