Winter is approaching and the opportunities
for getting out on the road will soon become
reduced. LBS is selling subject trainer for
$159 - having little knowledge of trainers
generally and this one specifically, anyone
got any comments?

That model is sold by an ebay store all the time. They usually have a
Buy It Now price around $120, but the only one I saw at the moment is a
normal auction. I ended up biding my time and picked up a used one for $40.

The LBS has a different model with magnetic resistance - and they
offer group discounts! Anyone from Perth want to join in for a
purchase?
