Hey all - Have been on Lovastatin for upwards of 6 months and would really like to go off it. Have a stress echo in August and will see how convincing the doc is then.
Had a thought tho - Can statin drugs be so effective as to cause the liver to go into overtime production just to keep cholesterol levels up to a certain minimum? The end result being that the body is fighting the drug and stressing the liver?
