Hi, I have a question about freestyle stroke- in general.
I've noticed that I sometimes have zero kick at all. What are the
'cons' of having no kick? what is the best way to add a kick? Can one
swim freestyle without a kick or is it advised to add one. thanks a lot

most likely you don't have the endurance to kick AND swim freestyle at
the same time, it's hard work, especially with stiff ankles, you don't need to kick anymore then is enough to keep you legs parallel
in the water.best way to add a kick is use a kickboard, try 20 laps a day with one.
