<lol> I just knew that was going to be gross if I clicked on it...

    Good kitty!

I used to find stuff like this on the front porch all the time before
our cats became all indoor cats. ;-)

Sometimes all I'd find would be a small pile of entrails and a mouse or
rat face. Not even the whole head.....

    Great pic! <G>

That could have used a GW (gross warning).

Dead critter warning next time please! I thought you cooked kitty a
gourmet treat, or they stole your breakfast or something...

You're right. Sorry. Don't look (again). I still haven't found the rest -
kitty removed not just the head, but the shoulders & front legs, too.

<lol> He did say it was his cat's breakfast...
    IMHO it was predictable....... ;-D

I know cats. I thought it was funny as hell.

You will most likely find those remains in the litter box...

Where is that recipe I had for "cat food" including fillet of sole and a
    nice sauce?

I wonder who cooked up the idea of eggs coming from rabbits. My son
questioned the theory when he was 4.

    Ewwww!

My cat, Jackson, is quite the hunter himself. Christmas morning he came
through the cat door carrying a dead squirrel, some days he drags in a
mouse, crawfish, grub worm, snake, butterfly, bird, lizard, baby possum.

The first time I saw Jackson, was when he wandered in through the cat
door on December 10th. I thought it was my neighbor's cat who comes over
for snacks, they look just alike. He is incredibly loving and
affectionate, so I keep him around.

My parents used to have a Lab who loved to carry small logs home. It was
great. With a nice long walk once or twice a day he kept us supplied with
wood for the fireplace. When I moved to my place in the country I had a
Bouvier who was never much interested in fetching, but one day I was happy to
see her carrying in a nice piece of wood just the right size for the
fireplace. It sounded like a piece of wood when she dropped it on the kitchen
floor, and the brown on the outside looked like bark. I went to pick it up
and take it out to the fireplace. It turned out not to be a piece of wood. It
    was a frozen muskrat..

When I hd cats I had the feeling they expected some sort of bounty when they
brought back small animals or tokens of their victories over them. They
caught lots of moles but they didn't eat them, so there as usually a dead
mole or two on the front porch. Instead of bringing back entire mice they
seemed to prefer to eat them in wherever they caught them and then brought
back the stomachs to lay on the doorstep like a trophy.

    Been there done that. ;-)

Ever stepped out on the front porch in bare feet and had rat/mouse guts
squish up between your toes? An experience that could be missed for
    sure... <lol>

    Gotta love those hunter kitties!
