I know I have this recipe somewhere called spaghetti pie. It was
written on a slip of paper so as soon as I find it, I'll post it. I
want to make it for dinner. In the meantime, I'm posting a few other
recipes we really like for your to critique or try or toss 🙂

eatThanks. The one I have is different. The spaghetti is mixed in an
egg/cheese mixture that IIRC had bread crumbs in it. This was then
formed into a nest in a deep dish pie pan. The sauce was a meat sauce
and I can recall putting sauteed mushrooms and onions in it. All of the
other ingredients went into the nest. The baked result was cut into
slices like a regular pie but the spaghetti forms the crust. I just
can't find the recipe! I might just have to experiment and write down
whatever recipe I come up with. -
Not pie exactly, but I was going too post this once to another pasta thread:
My best friend in jr. high was the son of immigrant Italian parents who did
things mostly the Old Country way, including lots of pasta. His mom made
spaghetti (seemed like her usual recipe but might not have been) and put it
in a 9" X 13" pan in the fridge. She would cut it into bars that we ate cold
as a snack.Lefty

I have a copy but hasn't been unpacked after the move.
