I tried at a poster's recommendation a Mexican cheese with a guava paste.
    Dee-licious.
I'll buy again. I bought it at a Walmart store, but I think next time I'll
look for a Goya guava paste as I really like Goya products.

    OB: Breakfast:
Cheese omelet; Black Beans with Penzy's dried green bell pepper, dried
    garlic and onion; spelt toast.
For a dessert: Tea; and the cheese with guava paste and a little toast.

Thanks to poster and thanks to every rfc'er.

I love a thin slice of good cheddar with a sliver of guava paste on top.
Some friends from Puerto Rico introduced this to me at a party once.

Thanks,Goomba, I'll give that a try, too. How can I go wrong.
I'm glad to find a new product -- and DH likes it, too.
But next time, I think I'll try to find a smaller sized tin.

It keeps quite well for months. Just wrap it tightly and keep it
    in the fridge.
