OK, cooking wizards - I was given a jar of Fig-Ginger jam. Tasty stuff. The label says to try it as a base for sauces used with things like pork. How would you turn this thick stuff into a sauce? Whisk in some WD-40? Broth?
Heat some in a pan and add some water for a sweet sauce. It might make an interesting addition to a BBQ sauce, and that would be easier if it were to be melted into a hot mixture.
