We can never know. Maybe he'd have ridden Boonen off his wheel had he

I'm having a problem here - is it two or three doofuses we're dealing
with here, counting Hincapie? And are you implying that Boonen is an
Italian master? Does that mean he gets handed up the steep hills in
the Giro? If so, I'm going with Boonen to win the Giro, easy. You
