I use my Raleigh Supercourse for commuting. But, I want to be able to take off the rack quickly for the weekend rides. Riding with an empty rack just seems funny. I have tried two quick release racks (Topeak and something else), but the quick release mechanism sticks out just enough so that the backs of my thighs rub it and it frays my shorts. Does anyone know of a quick release seat post rack that has the quick release “parallel” to the bike frame as opposed to “perpendicular” to it?
