I got one from Poundland. Now all I need is a suitable bike to hang it on.

Lidl have them from time to time. People usually mention here when the
cycling stuff is about to come in. Maybe no good if you're in a hurry
though,

I bought the KlickFix mini-mapholder from the above website - it's quite
small, more suited to holding a route sheet than a map, but very nifty.
The other options look pretty good if you want to carry a larger map or
route sheet but I have no experience of using them myself so can't comment.

For a handlebar mounted bar bag, I can recommend the Altura Arran bag.

Available from Wiggle (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/) for £30 - click on
"Bags - Handlebar" on the left of the page to see the others available.

It comes with a piece of nylon "string" that loops around the stem so
that the bag doesn't flop down the first time you hit a pothole.

The only drawback with this type of bag is that you can't see your
front wheel - if you are riding behind someone else, there is a
tendancy to keep rubbing their rear wheel in a "Ben Hur" stylee (at
least until they tell you to stop it or you get used to it!)

The Lidl ones are only any good if the diameter of your handlebars is
equivalent to a small pencil.

I bought one and had to take it back as the handlebar fittings were just too
narrow.
