I just got a wild hair to refinish my tourer/commuter: anyone know where I can get a steel bicycle frame GALVANIZED? Fortunately the frame has exactly zero braze-ons, so it's not as though any threads, etc. would get mangled. I want to leave the frame in its raw galvanized form!!

check out the yellow pages for metal finishing shops in your area. I'm sure you can find someplace that has a galvanizing tank that can dunk your frame into to galvanize it, inside and out.

What about the threads in the bottom bracket?
You may also have to somehow plug the seatpost and the headtube, the size may change...hot-dipping is pretty thick. -

This is a joke right! Use Weigel's Framesaver for the interior of the tubes and get some spray cans of Rustoleum paint and paint it. Galvanization will ruin a steel bike and if it is a lugged bike...bye, bye! -
Would you be able to explain why it would ruin a steel bike?
How about some CRC on the outside?
