Simplex BB Cable Guide source ?

I have never seen the guide you have, but I do have a delrin
dual-cable guide for a 1973 SLJ restoration bike I am working on.

cheap peugeots are an almost limitless supply of old simplex
hardware. However, in the 1980's almost all frames had braze-ons for
everything, so the part you are seeking might have been obsolete as
soon as it was released.

I have seen many delrin simplex cable guides on ebay, and a few
all-steel simplex guides as well. Chances are good that the guide
will not be different AT ALL from the equivalent huret guide, since
many french parts makers sourced the small parts from the same
supplier, and added their labels to their part. For example, I have
reason to believe that some SLJ shift levers with hard plastic covers
are hiding beneath them some "H"'s (from huret !)

The huret double guides are pretty rare; I eventually found mine on
seattle craigslist. Cyclart has a lesser type of huret guide, i
think, for sale for $6.00.

Not quite.
The Campagnolo braze ons or their chromed #626A are very
asymmetric. The rear simply passes the BB but the front
guide, shipped flat, gets curved around the seat tube at setup.

Huret had a beautiful chromed piece which much more
elegantly spanned both seat and downtubes with a better
curve than Campagnolo. It was part of the Jubilee set:

The Simplex version is mirror-image left to right, a small
dime-sized guide slotted with a casing stop on the trailing
edge. Rear wire passes under the curved nylon bit. The left
bit stops a casing which passes behind the seat tube to the
outside right bottom corner of the AV3SC or Super LJ front.

There may be another but the one described was plentiful on
new bikes of the period.

For French hardware, the band material is thicker on Hurets,
the chrome is much heavier and brighter. Simplex stops are
formed very differently from Huret stops and the bolt/nut
are distinctive by shape and color between brands. Moreover
Simplex bolts are 8mm, Huret 9mm. In short, I'd bet each
was made in-house, not sourced from a common supplier.

What are you saying about levers? They are quite different
one fom another.

Thanks for the pointer Don... sort of. Unfortunately I seemed to have
missed that one. I was away from haunting Ebay for a while and just
got back out there...

I can probably use the Huret version with a little twist right now,
although it pains me to have a huret part intruding in my Simplex
purity.
