  1. Paul Salvodelli is going to be hard as hell to beat this year. He will have
a good supporting team this time around.

George is going to look really good in the Tour but the real runner will be
Popovich who will use this as a team leadership training year.

    Paulo COULD win LBL.

I think Discovery Channel has too many leaders. Everybody knows you can
never win if your team has too many leaders.

What kind of a prediction is that?

  3. Candyass, of course.

  4. Please tell me you are joking with your spelling of "Paul Salvodelli"?

  5. Bettini is a go for M-SR

What's the dynamic going to be between Boonen and Bettini? Does Bettini
drop him up the Poggio or drag him?

Bettini attacks on the Poggio and Boonen looks at Zabel to say,
if you want Petacchi to have a chance, you chase him?

  8. Did you notice that no one else caught that?

You've misspelled Paolo Savoldelli et al so many times and so many ways
I figure you do it on purpose now just to get a reaction.

It's such a long-standing joke that anyone who spells Poala's name correctly
    must be new here.

This thread runs the danger of encouraging people to push the limits
in misspelling Savvoldelli's name and still leave it recognizable. It
    could become ugly.

Clearly, you aren't reading the news carefully.

"I'm going to start the race on Saturday and then worry about getting to San Remo," he added on Tuesday.

"My back and my knee still hurts when I stand on the pedals but I'm optimistic things will improve," he said.

On Sunday, Bettini rode for half-an-hour but was in so much pain he had to call his wife and ask her to pick him up.

If they were both healthy they could attack together on the Poggio with anyone else on that wants to go. Other people in the break would have no chance in a sprint, but they couldn't sit up either because Boonen and Bettini could win together. Of course it helps when you have the two stronget riders at the moment.

We did that last year during the Giro. Let's give it at least a full
calendar year before we butcher Salivodelli's name again.

Better get used to it because I have the feeling that Paolo is going to be
    successful again this year.

Hmm, with that spelling, his catch phrase would have to be, "Hey, wanna see
    my spit trick?"

I think that ought to be the standard spelling for RBR. It sounds like
"Salivating as you ride to the deli." I think most of us can relate.

When I say "us", I'm referring to "me", who now has the mass for
multiple bodies to go with my multiple personalities. So now I can
    paceline with myself. Jealous?

Sounds like an n-body problem. Have you considered the perturbation diet ?

Well, except for the "riding" part. I'd bet most trips to the deli are not
    via bike.

Can you work a double paceline with yourself?

Too much perturbation leads to blindness (allegedly).
