  1. Hi All,

    I'm new to the forum.

I've been mountainbiking since about '91 on a range of bikes, finally settling on my (second hand) Stumpjumper M2 which I've recently refreshed and upgraded - still going strong - I love it.

Recently had a whim to try my hand at road biking again. Haven’t had road bike since my last Raleigh-god-knows-what racer when I was a kid. Anyway, jumped in at the deep end and have ordered a Specialized Allez Elite. Hopefully more than enough bike to grow into!!

I've been poking round the net looking for road cycling pages and stumbled upon these excellent forums. Sure I'll be asking lots questions once I pick up my new steed!!
    David

  2. Have to watch out for that... I got back into cycling on the MTB, and then found that I was enjoying the rides to and from the trail more than the trail...

  3. Hi david,

    welcome to the mad house...

i particularly reccomend the 'are you a real cyclist' thread. lots of good cycling discussion in there..

LOL You're not wrong about the sad lack of cheerleaders this side of the pond!
