Well I usually enjoy a little reading time on sunday morning going over local events and reading the 6 pages comics. But I gotta say, this morning I was left with a bigger grin on my face after reading rss posts from the last 28 hours than any of this mornings strips.
Of course I am usually a sucker for a good Canadian poke of fun - did you know 1 Canadian joke is only .621 of an American one? See? better value per joke <g>
Well off to rest up a bit before some household chores, then a planned 2.75 (or more) mile ( 4,500 km ) workout tomorrow; starting with a straight mile warm-up, 1/2 mile kick, 1/2 mile pull, 1 mile slow/fast alternates. I might sub some varid stroke work in there -- I never realy know until I hit the water.
Either way, I will be proud of my workout and deserve a hero cookie <smile>

Wow - that's a much more favourable exchange rate than I've seen recently 😉.

Obviously it was too subtle... .621 is the multiplication factor to convert those pesky US miles into metric kilometers. See, what I was going for there was a litle callback to a previous post, and well, see it's funny because... .... oh never mind. Go Garfield

Oh I can do the math but a little national pride means that I can't bear to miss an opportunity to note a closing gap on the dollar.
That Canadian girl who won the moguls had the cutest feel-good medal ceremony I've ever seen. They showed it on NBC and I'm sure that even Bob Costas was tearing up when he said "it [meaning the medal ceremonies] never gets old." The girl must be a Canadian national treasure.
