Had leftover fried chicken pieces, so heated them in the toaster oven
while the rice was cooking. Steamed the last of the homegrown
broccoli, which consisted mostly of thin, tender stalks with just a
little bit of floret, then finished it in peanut oil flavored with
ginger slices. What made the dinner so good was the leftover chicken
gravy. It seems to get better after sitting in the fridge for a couple
of days. I don't think it really does (where some stews and some
chilis definitely do improve) but somehow I always look forward to it.
