The name wouldn't mean anything to you, just a few old timers.

It's B.Keith Ryder...any of you folks remember him? He was a
contestant in this designer wedding cake challenge on Food Network. It
took place at the Sugar Arts show in Tulsa OK. He placed sixth in
the competition, out of 64 top cake artists in the country.
It repeats tomorrow on Food Network at about 5pm, I think.

I think you're too new, Goomba. You'll only find the name when you
google for a recipe or thread on rfc... try Pad Thai. Christine D.
has put the fear of god into me about saying the name here. You can
blame her for this mystery. She's the one who told me to watch the

that was Christine's fault too.... we were in the chat channel and she
posted that she spilled the beans after making me sweat. I was so
astounded, I hit send instead of deleting that danged post.

Oh shoot, I met the Pad Thai Keith. He's not the same as the TV Keith?
Oh well. I don't have cable so it's all moot.

Nope. B.Keith Ryder is primarily a baker..but he used to be a regular
years ago, here on rfc.

I do remember him. When sf posted, I was trying to think of his name -
Brian kept coming to mind, but I knew that wasn't right. I don't have pay
TV (not even sure if Foxtel or Optus has Food Network) so I'd not get to
see the show, so I'm glad you posted the answer to the riddle!
I remember looking at his website, and at pictures of cakes he'd done. He
is certainly very talented, and that's a great result he achieved in the
competition.

Of *course* I remember B. Keith!! Didn't he get written up in a
newspaper not to awfully long ago? Congratulations, B. Keith!!
