  1. Hello,
Its been a couple of years since I seriously read this newgroup and followed
the LC WOL. I notice less activity and about the same number of
    trolls...gee whatever happened to Paul?

Well my story is sad but true...after losing 120 pds with Atkins.....I
gained it all back plus more. What happened was I renewed my long term
friendship with fritolay and pasta and bread. It started slowly...just a
little won't hurt would it......you are dammed right it will.

    Since January 1st I have managed to drop around 30 pds...I think. I don't
really know because I don't have a scale in the house. Looks like about a
loss of 4 inches on my belt and a suit that was tight is now overlapping
    around 4 inches.

What I am trying to do different this time around is eat when I am
hungry....try not to feel deprived. It is really hard when your family has
chip, bread, popcorn ect. and you are trying to maintain this WOL.

    Glad to be back

    Rick

    Congratulations.

You are off to a good start.

Have you reread the Atkins book? It can sure help you remember things
    you forgot.

Wow, you lose QUICKLY! Sounds like you GAIN quickly, too, though :-(
    Well, now you know.

I find that my #1 motivation for staying low-carb is that I FEEL better.
The weight loss is GREAT, as is looking better, but feeling better is
MUCH more important to me at this stage in my life.
