Quoted message said:I am just a near five pounds to really where I want to be. I pretty
much eat the same stuff, and its clean. So lets say all week long, I
eat the same calories, and stuff just different order. The scale goes
like this 132.5 on Mon, 133 on Tues 133.5 Wen, then may not go down
for a few days stay the same and then drop down. I get very fustrated
because its like I start out with a big drop 135 on sunday, then it
slows creeps up as the week goes on. Very odd, now I know don't weigh
yourself all the time but that wont happen with me sorry.
By the way to all the exerciser I am really enjoying being back at the
gym. My weight loss has slowed down to it but I feel so good. Thanks
.
My scale bobs around a lot.
If I go exercise and come back home, I can be 2 pounds lighter than when
I left two hours earlier.
After water drinking, most of the weight comes back. After several hours
and a meal or so later, I can be up a few pounds above normal.
Then there are days when little of this happens.
Cubit (i think) posted a link to his log of weight loss during his march
to good weight. If you can get a copy of that, you can see that his
weight bounced around a lot on a very short term basis - something like
yours.
Remember that water is about 1 pound per pint.
If you are a pint or two low in water you will be a pound or two lower
in weight. If you are a pint or two up in water (perhaps from a lot of
salty snacks washed down with water) you will be up in weight for a
pound or two.
Overnight you can easily perspire off or urinate out a pound of water.
If you can do it, it might be a good idea to weight yourself, and write
down time and weight, every hour for a full day or two or three. After
you see the weight swing around a lot, you might quit bothering to make
a lot of issue over a short term "gain" of a pound or two, or a short
term "failure to lose" a pound or two.
In other words, there are good reasons not to keep weighing yourself too
often. It will drive you nuts unless you can believe that weight
fluctuations are pretty much normal.
There was an informercial years ago about "Losing Weight While You
Sleep", of as much as a pound per night. Any placebo taken before sleep
would appear to produce as much as a pound of weight loss overnight.
Take it easy.
