Does anyone know of a good site that has GPS routes for UK walks, in
particular the New Forest and Dorset?
I've googled but can't find any.

Try here..
www.geohikes.co.uk/

www.walkingbritain.co.uk has a variety of walks though not sure if they
have GPS files.
www.walkingworld.co.uk does have Memory Map overlays for some of their
walks which can then be exported to a GPS though you have to pay for
most of these I think.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head - hope it's a start.

If you have Anquet mapping you could try:
http://www.anquet.co.uk/routes.asp
GPS Walker has a few at:

Some Up North at:

No GPS waypoints as far as I can see but lots in Dorset:
Lake District site:

I walk in Dorset and the NF every week, so if you are looking for something
specific I might be able to help. I use Tracklogs V3, but can probably
convert to other formats.

Might as well post my site too, but it's Snowdonia specific.
www.walkeryri.org.uk
There are files in .gpx, tracklogs and memorymap formats.
Tracklogs is fast annoying me as the new v3 files are not compatible with
v2, there is no option to save in a compatible format. This is very poor
form on their part. I end up having to fiddle about with it in v2, where
it's usually so mangled, i'd be best start again, before using gpsu to save
in other formats.

I made this point to them when V3 first came out. They said it was on their
list of things to do.
