c'mon....SwStudio's reaction w/you and Downie was the most amusing thing on this ng all week. imagine that, a spat erupted that i had no role in. and that "Lewinsky" you gave him pendejo....lol, classic. i bet to this moment he thought you were being genuine and sincere and the situation warranted & merited that measure of stroking lol. i couldn't resist posting this this thread title....just to tinker w/SwStudio a bit. c'mon...had to be funny to see that title on Friday...after all that [censored] last weekend...
3 days of 4 mile runs ball striking in great sunny 50+ weather @ a 7:20 pace on the Central Park track.....in singlets and shorts....in February. Ooooooohhhh shiiiiiiit. iffa-brotha gets his swagger back!!!! uh-oh.....i've dropped 4, need to lose another 10.....and it's over baby. just as a tiger never loses his stripes i'm back to training runs turning into races with the team guys in central park 🙂 man it feels goot to be running again...your body has "memory"...and it's so cool to find yourself in a natural toe bouncing stride with a slight lean, elbows in tight....and just pacing .....a long missed familiar place.......when i was hurt there were moments that i wondered if my knee would ever been the same....be able to run w/no hint whatsovever of injury.....i feel like i got a second lease on life....and what am i going to do with it? _Place_ in my AG in '06. Somehow, someway....placing has eluded me too long. I've had my share of top 10 finishes......and it honestly feels no different than finishing 25th. I wanna walk away with a trophy just to know for one moment...in one race....i was at the top of the class.

OK, but for the fortieth time, WHAT NYRR RACES ARE YOU GONNA RUN? The four miler in 8 days? Brooklyn 21k? All of 'em, which would be more your usual?
just as a tiger never loses his stripes i'm back to training runs turning into races with the team guys in central park 🙂

Lance, Lance, Lance, Haven't you learned anything? I give you a month before you're injured again. Training runs are just that; training runs. Turning them into "races" is a guaranteed, 100% surefire road to injury. But hey, what do I know. I'm just a slow, jogging trailrunner, while you're the "racing" expert.

For the record...I've injured myself to the sidelines only twice in the last 5 years of running. A major groin that had me out 12 weeks, and this latest injury. I've clocked thousands of miles & done over 100 races in that time. I'm not injury prone, I though stress & challenge my body...to the edge....something I don't think you know much of.
however you got me beat on fashion..... i will grant you that. i saw that picture you posted last week. those were lovely bermuda shorts you had on TrailRunner. Have you ever considered becoming a "trailrunner", Trailrunner? That photo was not a trailrunner....that was a guy out bridwatching or the like. i suppose a pair of binoculars were in 1 of the 2 [censored] packs you had on? how resourceful. This is what a trailrunner looks like Trailrunner http://www.sbrunning.org/Images/LisaW_TrailRunner.png
Since you assume assume entitlement of the name, perhaps you can at least look the role?

Talk is cheap. Let's see if you have patience to train properly or will you pull your usual zero base and hurry up balls to the wall speed. I predict you will shoot yourself in the foot or knee in your case.

Please post in english. Brotha isn't universally understood.

Tim ______
why tim, you xenophobic ninny. perhaps you can expand your mind and get "contemporary". i understand you come from a former world leading country (colonizing, navy, and such) .....which is now a half-ass "kingdom" and there is nothing "great" about "britian". watch cnn sometime and you'll see the most conservative white republican politicians here in a country that still matters...use the word "dis" in conversation and interviews. yes, you'll find that word in webster's dictionary. what is universally understood is that the UK / GB no longer does (matter). I would extend that to your opinion as well 🙂 That's it in a nutshell.
You've got 2 things gong for you, Paula Radcliffe and Kelly Holmes. That's it.......and Kelly Holmes has what Paul Radcliffe does not......an Olympic Gold Medal. So in a sense...Kelly Holmes has brought more pride to the UK than Miss Radcliffe. Tim, you've stated "brotha" is not universally understood.....okay. I suppose the term "Sistah" would eqaully confuse you as well? Well Tim...a "sistah" brought GOLD to the UK in Athens. Take a look at this photo Tim....that's a photo of a Sistah bringing your half-ass country Gold...... http://www.pocruises.com/thecompany/press/images/kellyHolmesHigh.jpg
So if you chance upon this "sistah" in your country Tim...if you can manage to say, "Go head gurrrlll".....or "do your thing gurl".....you might manage to be seen as something other than a bangers & mash eating, no dentist attending, benny hill / dame edna / mr. bean loving [censored].
however you got me beat on fashion..... i will grant you that. i saw that picture you posted last week. those were lovely bermuda shorts you had on TrailRunner.
I have to wear long inseam shorts. It's the only way I can keep the "goods" covered :-)
