Well it's not just one individual. There are plenty of trolls out there.
And plenty of people, not just trolls, have issues. Of course some
people just like to irritate others. I reserve my opinion on Ed Dolan.

Well for the most part, I just ignore things that don't interest me.
Including on and off topic post from so-called trolls. Now if you are
like the old high racer blog guy, you will get into my filter pretty
quickly. Ed doesn't bother me enough to warrant putting him in there yet.

Bill should act his age and not pretend to be young when he clearly isn't.
That is the shortest route to an early death that I know of. Bill already
has one foot in the grave and a slight nudge will send him all the way there
to his eternal perdition.

At 57 Bill has only a few more years to live at best. But hey, just keep on
running and cycling and maybe Old Man Death won't be able to catch you! But
I surely wouldn't count on that. Somehow, Old Man Death has never yet
overlooked a single person who has ever lived.

Ken, a true troll will NEVER be responsive. I ALWAYS am. That is why I am
not a troll. I am a sort of pretend troll, but please note that I will
always connect on any issue that is presented to me - just as I have done
here.

One other thing, I do not ever post to be agreeable. On the contrary, I will
normally post to be disagreeable. But that has absolutely nothing to do with
being a troll. I reserve being agreeable strictly for emails, not Usenet.

The only troll I have ever known on ARBR was Ed Gin. He was never responsive
and just posted the same old [censored] over and over consisting mostly of
scurrilous remarks and a kind of spam of sorts. He was an idiot of course,
but all trolls are idiots. Trust me on this, I will always have some pointed
remarks to make because I am not an idiot and I am not a troll. I will read
carefully whatever I am responding to and make an appropriate answer. If
only all others would do as much!

My posts have mainly to do with form, not subject. Both are needed on any
forum, otherwise the idiots take over. Those who pride themselves on being
strictly on topic all the time will bore a group to death. Those of us with
wide ranging intellects simply can't stand those kind of numb skulls.
Catzz66, an anonymous coward, is doing us all a favor by never getting off
topic. He would doing us an even greater favor though if he would block
himself.

The besetting sin of almost all newsgroups is the idle chit-chat that goes
on between the regulars. If they only knew how incredibly stupid they are,
they would be ashamed to do it. But it is just one dumb slob talking to
another dumb slob and no one objects. I am here to occasionally voice the
necessary objection so that total idiots do not completely dominate a forum.
