Yes, I noticed that too. I am expecting to receive the 2006 version by
e-mail later this week :-)

Just fitted new wheels mudguards(1) AUK sticker chain cassette etc,
what does this tell you about the likely weather?
(1) which are coming off again for Thorne-Edinburgh to be replaced by
the old disposable ones, and staying off for La Marmotte (for fear of
getting laughed at) (2)
(2) more than usual

I bought some fake raceblades in Halfrauds, or could fit old ones to
brother's heap of junk;

BTW it's not El Supremo is it? thought it was the Pilbeam van with the
comfy cardboard cushions from the Mulled Wine etc which the route uses
part of so pray for no more snow like last year, fun it was not coming
off Farthing Down and doing a controlled crash into a bush ;-(

not it's El-S; just got the revised route sheet; the only diffeence
being it goes the same way as the Mulled Wine towards parts West after
the control rather than from her house. Still not put the chain on so
Trek/Raceblades/rain/skog(tm) still a possibility

I've spent much of today trying to figure this one out; on the 100 from
Anmore you go very soon onto skoggy(tm) narrow lanes and up the South
Downs after a nice long downhill swoop before a long woody slog up to
where the SDW crosses and a (sssh) gumment establishment is seen. On
the way down from the 200 you go back up the other side of the same
hill but the 100 route is suddenly transmogrified into a long sweeping
Proper Road with shops pubbes etc. Have you still got the route sheet
from the 100 to compare the two?

BTW Simon B tried to find the road back up to Butser Hill but could not
see it; found it on the map though.

Absolutely identical until you get to the roundabout in Stockbridge
where the 100 sent you up Stockbridge Down on the B3048. The 200
appears to go into Stockbridge on the A30, then parallel to the River
Test for a bit before heading off north-west, but because I packed /way/
before there...
