If you want performance (i.e. light weight) and have a wide foot, I have found the Nike Poggios to be really good. I got mine 3 years ago and they are still fine. However, I don't know the price in US$

  3. This topic has been discussed often enough in the past. Try doing a search... 🙄

In any event, Sidi shoes are just about the best out there (find the right model in your price range). No need for fancy carbon soles, the 'normal' model should do you just fine. 🙂

I ride with the Genius 5 and they are absolutely, positively wonderful. 😎

  4. The Shimano 215b's are great value, much cheaper than the european brands (in Australia anyway), different widths available, full carbon sole (may be too stiff for some), toe and heel caps, vents in the sole, ratchet closure, only issue is no rubber heel pads so the clear coat onthe heels gets worn off when you put your foot down.

  5. I'm looking at SIDI shoes, however I also want a shoe with 4-hole mounting. I'm sick of the 3-hole to 4-hole conversion brackets. The Sidi site isn't very informative (photos, descriptions, etc) about which shoes do have 4-hole mountings. Can anyone help? Lists, etc?

Would be very grateful. 🙂 Might even send you my old shoes! 🙂
