Now hes nobody she dumped him. Plus his relationship skills may not be
that great- witness a failed marriage. At least this year someone who
actually races can win. I bet lance will be back since he is already

Fab used to come to ARBR (a recumbent newsgroup) and bait all the Freds
there about how fast he was and how slow we were in comparison. It was all
done in good humor, but it nevertheless got tiresome after awhile. Fab was a
one note Johnny who never seemed to tire of the baiting.

However, the group is now suitably amused and instructed by the Great Ed
Dolan and we most certainly do not need Fab back on the group with his
childish baiting. ARBR has now matured, thanks to me, and there are no more
simple minded Freds left to be baited. Fab needs to consign himself strictly
to the racing newsgroup where they will appreciate his juvenility.

There's no reason to believe that he'd be any less capable of
discussing a wide range of subjects than is say, Mike Wallace or Ed
Bradley (two men with a wide audience even though they've spent almost
their entire lives in the entertainment- ooops, I mean the "news"-
business) or Bill Bradley (another former professional athlete but I
think he has another job now), or Rush Limbaugh (another entertainment
figure), or Michael Moore (as long as you don't expect facts to
interfere with the discussion), or even any RBM regular so unless you
define a person solely by how they earn a living, your list is a bit
parochial.

I am not sure what she's after. Wasn't she an item with Kid Rock at some
point prior to Lance? What's he going to do with his Trans Am she had
'Overhauled'? And the bike the OCC guys built for him?

She sadly reminds me of my ex-fiancee, who was of a similar mind. . . Maybe
she'll grow up someday and find someone that she doesn't want because he's a
star, but because he wants her for her, and not her star status. Remember

Geeze as a time trial it took him some forty minutes for the ten miles, right.
Doing it five times in a day is just going to have to be somewhat slower, I
guess rolling back to the bottom is good for recovery time. But the bottom line
is that's a good 6-7 hours of intervalic gut busting.

Yeah, it must be drugs, that's why he's faster than the rest.

And it matters not because racing up Ale du Wheese is not the Tour de
France. LA is know for winning the TdF 7 times, not being the fastest up
ADW. Geez, you'd think LA must be the fastest guy to do anything on a bike.
