  1. Well, I'll be dipped in @$#$. OLN has committed to "some" cycling coverage this year... They have on tap some coverage of the classics, Giro, TdF and World Championships. Not great, but not bad.

  2. Still missing the Vuelta though. I'll take what I can get.

I know.... Bizarre isn't it ? It's like covering all but the 5th game of the World Series.

I have had to switch to DirecTV to get OLN for 2006. Not bad though, the package is cheaper and I get 2 addtional receivers.

The Vuelta was broadcasted as web-tv on www.lavuelta.com last year (for free!).

the caveat - its tiny, pixelated, very difficult to run on a Mac, they cover only the last hour or less and there is no commentary - not even in spanish. Definitely not my preferred method of watching, but I take what I can get.

  6. I noticed that they have no domestic (US) races listed. ESPN2 is covering the TdCal starting this Sunday. Maybe one will pick up at least a highlight show of TdGeorgia. And maybe OLN will add a few more throughout the year.

  7. why has OLN changed so drastically? their Giro coverage...episodes on Sunday afternoon. THAT'S IT!!! for basically the 2nd biggest bike race in the world. 😠

are there any premium channels i can pay for that carry more?

OLNs coverage is at least as good, maybe a tad better, than last year. As I recall, a lot of last year's coverage was a week or longer delayed.
I haven't found any standard premium channels that carry cycling.
