    I am more curious as to what the gear ratios and gain ratios are for that
    sucker.
    He made a homemade round rim (more or less) and welded the spokes to it, it
    looks like angle iron or angle aluminum was used.
    It doesn't need any spoke tensioning then.

    Pressure of a football (soccer ball for the 'merkins) is normally about
    5psi.
