Hey kiddies. How's everyone been doing? I haven't posted in a while but I have lurked now and again. It's been a busy year for me. Got married last October, wife got pregnant and opened my own business (restaurant point of sale systems). Piper Rose was born on 8/12 weighing in at 6lbs, 6 oz. It is absolutely amazing. Needless to say, my poor bike has been feeling very neglected of late but I expect to get back in the swing of things ASAP.
I'm happy to see things have not changed much in my absence, although I have missed Rich's cartoons. It looks like there are some new faces around, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
Anyway, to all you So. Cal. people: I'll be ready for a San Juan or LoSoCal ride in the next month, I have to get back into some semblence of fitness.
Congratulations, Chris! We had a boy back in March. What an intense experience!
Good luck with all of your endeavors!
Matt
Thanks Matt, congratulations to you as well. It's amazing how much your priorities change when you have a child. Even with the sleepless nights and crappy diapers, it's been the best time of my life.
Hey, that's wonderful news, Chris! Was wondering where the heck you'd gone...
Thank you very much Brother Bill!

Speaking for (some of) the San Diego contingent, we're definitely overdue for an SJT climbfest (although Miles and I will skip the Los Pinos descent route, thankyouverymuch). Let's set it up!
Anything is fine as long as the mercury does not hit 107 like it did last time we ventured up that little hill.

Cartoons? I always thought they were humourous illustrations???

I may be making a quick visit soon with the SART on the agenda. Stay tuned.

Oh man, that was just wrong! You know how fragile I am.

See you on the trails,

Gone, but not forgotten. You were the only one who seemed to read my epic ride reports. Not that the riding was epic, but the length of the writeups always was. That's why I kept sending you cash.
Congratulations on acquiring the wife and kid and business. That's a lot in a year. A month old baby is a thing of wonder. I wonder when I get to sleep. I wonder when the wife and I get to do the wild thing. I wonder when it's gonna quiet down. LOL.

I've come to discover that any ride these days is an epic! The length of your RR's just helped put me right there with you... ;-)

Thanks, it certainly has been an eventful year. I've been "wondering" quite a bit in the past couple months.
