Yeah, but the knit gloves are getting harder to find...and even harder yet
to find CHEAP. The last pair I bought (got a new pair for Xmas) was from
Cdn Tire in the Fitness Section. They were packaged as "weight lifting"
gloves!

That tan tells any wrench that you is one of their "peeps".

Not really. Both Nashbar and Performance sell them (NB even has a
selection of 4 colors). And the croched (they're not really knit)
versions are their least priceyest gloves.

You can also buy "Bell" brand at your local "X"-mart. Same "classic"
biker style.

The old Spenco gel gloves are still being manufactured, now by the
Blue Gel Company of Birmingham, Alabama. See: http://www.bluegel.net/

The mesh back model is the TL-600. I believe the price is still $24.95
for 1 to 4 pair, $14.95 for 5 to 19, and $11.50 for 20 and up.

If you order in quantity you can mix models and sizes. Last year I put
together an order for our club and we all got our gloves for $12.00
per. This included shipping plus a small profit for me. ;-)

I guess the high cost is to pay for their fancy Web site. But, then, I'll
never know because I don't have the right plug-in. Oh well; I'll just go
